Plafonds Converto Inc. result from the passion of President Mr. Mario Maheux who is in the business of stretch ceilings in Canada for 25 years.

Already working with the famous Barrisol® membranes, Mr. Maheux has developed, with his team, the equipment and the procedure to tranform the regular acoustic panel with a stretch ceiling.

The idea of creating this product comes from many requests from architects and designers over the years. They wanted a suspended ceiling that had all the benefits of Barrisol® (washable, waterproof, non-flammable, ULC classified by Canadian standards) and also all the exceptional finishes (lacquered finish, printed finish…).

After many years of research and refinement, Converto offers a technology of ceilings out of the ordinary and goes along with all styles.

Converto holds the patent on this technology.

Mr. Maheux businesses are located in Thetford Mines, Quebec. We are supplying all Canada.
